Addiction Supportive Housing (ASH) Muskoka Parry Sound
- The intake process is the single point of entry for all services of Addiction Outreach Muskoka Parry Sound.
- The intake is a brief interview, either by phone or in person that collects very basic information and ensures that the services being requested meet the agency's mandate.
- The intake process is completed by an addiction counsellor. This is the first step in the process of getting support.
- Agency services are confidential and available at no cost to all persons regardless of age.
Once you have called and completed an intake you may schedule an individual appointment with an addiction counsellor. It is a safe and private place for you to explore and learn more about your concerns.
- The assessment consists of a bio-psychosocial interview and administration of standardized assessment questionnaires that will help identify areas of concern, where change is desired and strengths that will aid in the change process.
- Referrals to outside agencies and services are readily available.
Any person concerned about themselves or someone else’s (e.g. family member, friend) substance use/gambling can access counselling services in all of our offices.
